THANKFUL FOR GIVING BUT NOT FOR FALLING
We went to California this year for Thanksgiving, it was really nice even though it's still difficult to travel with our little ones. We got to see everybody in Whittier and it was so good to see Grandpa Jay. The dinner and dessert were wonderful. Jessy did a great job organizing everybody. Thanks Billy & Jess for hosting us. We were only gone for two days but when we got back home, every single leaf was off our tree. We hadn't lost that many before we had left so we were very suprised. I guess it froze one of the nights and the next morning all the leaves were gone in about 15 minutes. The kids are having a blast but now all the work begins.

HALLOWEEN
.jpg)
Halloween was a blast this year. It's fun to see our kids getting older and able to do more and be more excited about everything. Ellie was Tinkerbell and I wanted Carter to be Captain Hook and MJ Peter Pan but when Carter saw his costume he was too scared of it and wouldn't wear it and kept saying, "scary, scary" so I ended up making a Peter Pan costume for him and MJ Captain Hook which was really just a pirate. I had a great time making their costumes and I hope I can do that each year. We met up with Tiffany and kids and Charity and kids and wandered through their mom's neighborhood. Carter was running as fast as he could everywhere with a sucker in one hand and his halloween bag in the other. Their great aunt Jolleen made all the kids these adorable halloween bags that they will get to use year after year.
Carter would get to the door and say, "trick treat" take the piece of candy and gently put it in his bag, then he would politely say "thank you" and then half way down the driveway turn around and say "bye" it was adorable and everyone loved him. Ellie was pretty exhausted and was just happy to sit in the stroller and ride around. MJ was smiley and cute until he was getting a little hungry and started "talking" loudly which was perfect for a Halloween night. We had a really good time and were thrilled that the kids wanted to share their candy with us.
