JUST SOME CUTE PICTURES

I had just had to post these because they're cute and these kids are growing up too fast and I wish I could capture every moment I have with them.

SANDHOLLOW

One night after work we went out to Sandhollow with our friends the Goodfellows and the Wrights. The weather, water and sand were perfect.

COUSINS IN CALIFORNIA

Last weekend we went to California to see Michael's family. His cousins Jeremie and Jason and families were going to be there, and his cousin Jessica lives there so Michael siblings all packed up and they had a reunion and got to see each other. We had such a great time while we we there. Michael's dad took us to breakfast at this fanstastic family owned restaurant then later that day we went to the beach. The weather was perfect and everyone had a great time. James and Tre loved burrying each other in the sand and jumping waves, Carter after the first time getting hit by a wave decided to stick to the sand and Ellie played in the sand for a while but decided to sleep the rest of the time. That night Jessica made us all a fabulous pasta dinner with a variety of noodles and sauces. The next day was an all day eating fest and swimming party. Jessica and Billy even rented a bounce house for the kids for the day. Lunch was carne asada tacos and everything else you ever wanted. At one point in the pool was just 6 grown men no kids so they decided to have chicken fights and a few other testosterone driven games. Well into the night we played spoons and catch phrase. Good times!! We hope we can make this an annual thing.

SO SO SAD

So a few weeks ago Ellie started developing what looked like a bright red pimple on her face but it kept getting bigger and bigger and this morning it happened . . . it popped and bled and bled and bled, this is her sad little face an hour after it started bleeding. This picture isn't as bad as it was, the first band-aid we put on filled up and started leaking out in about 60 seconds, the second one Michael caught her eyelashes so she couldn't open her one eye. It was the saddest thing I've ever seen. I've put a call in to the pediatrician after getting nowhere with the dermatologist yesterday but does anyone have any suggestions for me?

FOUR MONTH OLD CHUBBY BUNNY

Ellie is already four months old, its hard to see time go by so quickly. Somedays I would love to stop time and just enjoy the moment for as long as I can and other days I want to move the clock forward without anyone noticing just to get the kids in bed so I can have alone time with Michael sooner. But I do love our little daughter she has been the best, sweetest, most peaceful little baby. I think she eats the same amount now as she did when she was two weeks old and is still such a butterball. She has slept through the night since she was about a month old and started smiling at five weeks. The only thing I've noticed is she's kind of a girl, if she gets hurt (carter) she'll cry and cry and cry, Carter all he would do was get a bewildered look for a minute and then he'd be off exploring again.

Now that these kids are getting so big we moved Ellie to the crib in her own room and Carter now has a big boy bed which he does really well in and we've never had a problem until last night. On Monday nights James has a sleepover in Carter's room, this is what we found. It was so cute. He is going to miss James so much when he goes home for school.
