BABY MICHAEL IS HOME -- WOO WOO

Baby Michael came home on Friday morning. It is great to have him here. Carter & Ellie were so happy to see him.

Bili Lites?

So, little Michael has a high Biliruben count. Thus the need for the lights. I had a stern talk with him about getting better. He gave me a wink and told me he was on it!

Baby Michael is doing great!

Yesterday afternoon baby Michael decided to get into gear and stop working so hard to breathe. He was able to get weaned off the cpap and is only on hi-flow so he is doing awesome!! He's not on additional oxygen or any meds he just needs to get weaned off the hi-flow, suck down a few bottles and he's good to come home. We are excited to be nearing the end of his stay here at the NICU.

Still at the Hospital

So baby Michael is still in the NICU. They have decreased his oxygen support from 8 to 7. This is good. We gotta get him down to 5 or 4. They have taken him off of the antibiotics. Here's the 2 Michael's hang'n out.

NICU Again? Oh come on!

So, our little boy Michael Joseph is in the NICU, just like Carter was. He'll be here for a few days til his breathing catches up. I was hoping we would never see this dept. again. The staff is great though. They really are on top of things.
