TOGETHER FOREVER
On Friday, April 17th, our family was blessed with the opportunity to get sealed together for eternity. For those of you that don't know what that means it's a common goal of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is an ordinance performed in the temple eternally uniting a husband and wife, or children and their parents. We had waited a long time to do this. We have been married two and a half years and since we had both been married before the logistics needed to be sorted out. We had just gotten the okay in a letter from the First Presidency on the previous Monday, it was dated April 1st which made us a little nervous :) We didn't want to wait any longer and set the date for Friday, it was a very spiritual and emotional time for me starting with walking through the front doors of the temple with our beautiful children in tow, Carter 13 months and Ellie 2 weeks old. I cried and didn't stop until we left the temple. First Michael and I had the opportunity to be sealed and then they brought in Carter and Ellie. They both looked and acted like little angels. Carter was dressed in the cutest white outfit and Ellie was wearing the blessing dress I wore as baby which my mother had made. Carter didn't make a peep or a fuss, he just sat there looking around calm as could be and Ellie just slept the whole time. I absolutely love Michael and love that I can be with him forever but it was overwhelming to have our two small children sealed to us, it is an image that can never be erased from my mind.

EASTER
Easter was great. We made it to church with 10 minutes to spare something I had worried about for months since we have 9 am church. I thought we were doing great, we had time to show off Ellie, find a seat, get situated . . . until we noticed that Carter didn't have any shoes or socks on, so we scurried to find something in the car, we found one white sock and one gray sock, that's okay a new mom deserves some slack. Well then I realized I forgot Carter's church books and toys, snacks, a sippy cup and a burp cloth for Ellie. Next week I'll start preparing Saturday night. After a wonderful church service we got a few picutres taken and later that day went to my Mom and Dad's for a delicious, scrumptous dinner with Craig's family. It was a nice relaxing Easter Sunday.

ELLIE's BIRTHDAY!!!
So our baby girl is here. Elizabeth Noel Anderson was born on April 3, 2009 at 1:03p.m. weighing in at a healthy 7 lb. 10 oz. 20 inches long. She is so beautiful!! Thursday night Michael and I went on a date to dinner and to see Julianne Hough in concert at Tuacahn, we took Michael's orange bug to dinner and the last time I was in a bug was right before Carter was born so I shouldn't have been surprised when I started to feel cramps after we got home. Luckily Carter was spending his first night away from home at Grandma and Grandpa Maxwell's because when 7:00 a.m. hit I was sure it was contractions and not cramps anymore and they were coming two minutes apart, I thought the Dr told me to call when they were 5 min so I hurried to get ready and pack some essentials before hurrying off to the hospital. We arrived about 8:30 a.m. and had a baby 4 1/2 hours later, it was pretty slick. We were waiting for the doctor for about 15 min so Michael was joking that he could just deliver her and the nurses suited him up so when the Dr got there he delivered the head and Michael got to deliver the rest of her. It was really fun to have him do that. On Saturday Ellie and I were released so we headed to mom and dad's to pick up Carter, we missed him so much. He is so fascinated with her he has a hard time keeping his hands off her. He is great except when she has a bottle and a binky he thinks he needs one too. We are so blessed and so lucky to have such a beautiful family!
