STEVE ORTON'S B-DAY PARTY
Steve turned . . . well we'll let him tell you . . . on Saturday and there was a swimming party for him at Donna and Laneice's. All the kids swam and we ate delicious cake. Happy Birthday Steve!!
ADAM COMES TO VISIT
Michael's cousin Adam (who's 11) came to visit from Phoenix for about three weeks. He's been having so much fun with all his family.

MAXWELL FAMILY REUNION
It was time again for the Maxwell Family Reunion. Once a year my dad's family gets together to play games, eat, razz each other and reconnect. It was up in Enoch where they are all from. We had a good time and James and Adam had fun playing with the many many kids. It's really sad when there gets to be so many you have no idea which toe head belongs to which cousin. James was easy to spot because he was one of the few brunettes and of course Carter being the youngest he got his fair share of attention. Until next year!!

FATHER'S DAY
James is here for the summer and we've been having so much fun. We've had swim parties and birthday parties and a great Father's Day. While Michael was at church meetings we made him breakfast and hid his gifts so when he got home he had to play the hot/cold game to find them. After church we went up to Eric and Allison's and had a delicious while Kailee played mother hen to Carter. Her birthday is coming up and she really wants Carter for her birthday and to think I was just going to go to the dollar store :)

CARTER GETS BLESSED - JUNE 1st
Look how cute he looks in his blessing outfit. Caroline wanted to do something special for him so she made this beautiful outfit. I didn't know what to expect and I was getting a little worried since she had been working on it for 3 months and it didn't arrive until 3 days before the blessing and he had grown so much in such a short time but it was perfect and I loved it!! She had made a shirt, a bow tie, pants and a jacket, and the jacket was even lined. It is the absolutely incredible. THANK YOU CAROLINE!!
The blue and white blanket is one that Sara Seely made, one of my Young Women from my parents ward, she started this as soon as she found out I was having a baby and it was the last thing she needed to get her YW recognition award. It is absolutely beautiful and the first thing she's ever done like this. AMAZING!!
WHAT? CARTER'S ROLLING OVER???
That's right this little guy has actually been rolling over for a few weeks now but at first we thought it was a fluke and then we were never able to capture it on film until now. He's still a leftie and still just front to back but I think he's enjoying his accomplishments and it makes mom and dad so proud ;)
TWO MONTHS OLD AND GETTING DECKED OUT FOR THE VW CAR CLUB
May 10th 2008 -- Michael had his 3rd club meet and even Carter was getting into the spirit of it. The car club finished up the evening at Charlie's on the blvd where some Mazda tried to crash the party, (it was actually just Eric and Allison).
SHERRIE COMES TO VISIT
I'M SUCH A SLACKER!! This is May 4th 2008, Sherrie and Jeremy came down for the weekend to meet Carter. We had a great time. We got pedi's and took a drive out to Sand Hollow and of course made a trip to In N Out. Only one night did Carter keep them up all night screaming and crying (he's only done that probably twice and they were lucky enough to witness one of those times.
